A Studio - from a dream to reality

 

Some time ago the idea of putting a studio in our shop percolated into our minds. Conversation and prayer and more conversation. Kathy Jo, following God into a music and worship ministry began to dream and speak the studio into existence.

Life and God’s timing being what it is, the dream stayed and grew, but the planning and taking action was put on hold. Kathy Jo had to step in faith and leave her tent-making job and follow God to Northwest University. There she learned the tools of the trade and was mentored by several industry leading professionals - both at Northwest and the local community.

By the end of 2020, the dreams became a reality and with the help of one of her mentors, Bubba Jones, and a fellow engineer and producer, Joe Nicholson, plans and conversations in a cold shop were had. From there some moving, deconstruction, and construction began. This timeline blog is here to document and capture the journey of a studio that was dreamed of and now thirsts to be built.
